q-Staff performance group
"With Bright Spines: a Working Presentation" represents a rare glimpse into q-Staff's unique performance creation process. The group has been developing material for over two years, focusing on three areas for their query: cacti and other prickly plants of our desert locale, prickly personages (artists, dissidents, madfolk), and the 17th century philosopher and heretic, Baruch Spinoza. In this early presentation, the emerging world of "Spines" is already rich with image, music and sporadic episode. Please join us for this early meeting at the intimate interior of performance.

the UnPOSSESSED, based on the story of Don Quixote, fuses Double Edge's unique performance methodology with popular circus arts,aerial work, shadow puppets,stilts, and commedia dell'arte with live original music and stunning imagery. This work, which celebrated the 400th anniversary of Cervantes's novel, re-imagines the story of Don Quixote's mad quest for idealism in the face of destruction.
